Cookie Policy

Effective September 19, 2026 (version 2026-09-19)

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how PrintCommons uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies. Cookies are small data files or browser values that can keep a session active, remember settings, support security controls, or help a service complete a transaction.

2. Necessary authentication and security cookies

PrintCommons uses session and authentication cookies to sign users in, refresh sessions, protect authenticated routes, and maintain account security. These technologies are necessary for core account functionality and cannot be disabled through a PrintCommons preference panel while still using the authenticated service.

3. Payment and fraud-prevention technologies

Payment pages may use cookies or similar technologies supplied by our payment provider to process transactions, prevent fraud, secure payment forms, and meet payment-network or regulatory requirements. Those technologies may be governed in part by the payment provider's own privacy and cookie practices.

4. Analytics and advertising

The current PrintCommons application does not load third-party advertising tags or behavioral-analytics tags. Because the site currently uses only technologies needed for authentication, security, payment, and core service operation, PrintCommons does not currently display a separate non-essential-cookie consent banner.

If PrintCommons later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking technologies, this policy will be updated and consent or opt-out controls will be added before those technologies are used where required.

5. Browser controls

Most browsers let you delete or block cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, payment, security, or other account features from working correctly. Browser controls operate independently of PrintCommons.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the site's technology or legal requirements change. The version above identifies the current policy.
